Do you think it could be worth to add a copyright or copyright.txt
file inside /gfx or elsewhere?

I've added one inside the /gfx directory "COPYRIGHT"(capital letters)
with my changes:
http://sites.google.com/site/towardsfloss/main-page/gfx.tar.gz
Included are only the files that I replaced, so I distribute as little
"copyright unknown" content as possible
