Hi everyone,

glamor development has completely moved to the xserver, for the better
or worse. Still, an xserver with glamor support hasn't been released
yet, and it will take a while until glamor-enabled xservers will be
hit distributions. Meanwhile, a good amount of fixes and improvements
have been backported into this branch of glamor.

I think it makes sense to do a final release of the standalone glamor
library to easen the transition. I have been using glamor HEAD plus
the buffer_storage patches I have posted here and a small patch to
increase the VBO size, for the last two months without any issues.

I'd like to get a fixed version of the buffer_storage patches (to
allow compilation with old GL headers) and the VBO size patches
upstream and then do a final release. What's your opinion?

I'll post the patches shortly.

Best regards
Grigori
