Summary: GST-Player Linker segfault during compile.

Hello,

In the past couple of days I detected that when trying to compile
GST-Player it segfaults during the linkprocess.

Following situation:

I compile my entire GNOME from HEAD (ok so far not related to GSTreamer).
GNOME compiles correctly and I don't get any Linker failures. At the end
after I compiled my entire GNOME (around 80 modules from CVS) I gonna
compile GST-Player and get exactly this error seen in the attachment.

I first thought something on my System may be hosed but this is not the
case otherwise I would have get this issue with various other GNOME modules
or various other Sources that I compile. But no, this only happens with
GST-Player.

System:

Linux 2.5.68 (Userland Tools use the 2.4.20 headerfiles),
Binutils 2.13.2.1
Glibc 2.3.2
GCC 3.2.3
