gst-player also blocks my cd-burner. It does not open the tray and the PC
HD-LED burns red. This does not change over the whole session and,
sometimes, is still valid even after a reboot of the system (from the very

+Killing a process is kernel-related, and if that fails/hangs, then I'm
+fairly sure that something else is keeping the actual scheduler busy
+before it can do userspace jobs like killing other userspace apps or
+so. This might be a video driver bug (Xv!) or such a thing, but really
+doesn't sound like anything GStreamer related, unless you can provide
