+Typing gst-player in gnome-terminal I see:
+

+And jumps an error window that says:

+Could not render default GStreamer audio output sink from GConf
+/system/gstreamer/default/audiosink key. Check if it is set correctly.
+
+Just close that error window and your warning pops up: "....highly alpha
+code...." Iclick on close and the previous error is still visible. I see
+the main window of gst-player and try to play an mp3 file and in the
+gnome-terminal I get:
