+This is the expected behaviour I think.

+You don't have the osssink plugin installed (try running "gst-inspect
+osssink" to see if it's there), which is used as default audio output
+element.

+You should probably install the right package with osssink (I'm not
+using Debian, don't ask me)

+Or if you use a different audio out, try setting the gconf key
+"/system/gstreamer/default/audiosink"
