Product: GStreamer

Status: NEW

Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: gstreamer (core)

TargetMilestone: 0.4.0

Summary: Threads crash on i686 glibc

This bug is opened to try and move the long standing issue of gstreamers
threads implmentation failing on i686 glibc.
(We have tests illustrating this in'/testsuite/threads/')

To verify the issue I have tried creating glibc rpms for i386,i586 and i686
architectures, with varying -O parameters. My tests showed that the -O
parameters seemed to be unrelated to the problem totally.

Both i386 and i586 seemed to work, while i686 caused the segfaults.
