 Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought the ffmpeg plugin could handle the
 full set of tasks needed for us to do ffmpeg playback, not just the
 decoding part. That was why I thought this bug might be indirectly
 fixed since that would have meant we got asf support anyway (and
 strictly wouldn't need this plugin).

+Ok, Owen has now checked updated (and mostly working code) into CVS.
+Need to figure out when to get this integrated before 0.6.1.
