Bug#: 122956
Product: GStreamer
Version: 0.6.3
OS: Linux
OS Details:
Status: NEW
Resolution:
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: gst-player
AssignedTo: gstreamer-maint at bugzilla.gnome.org
ReportedBy: v.merkatz at gmx.net
QAContact: gstreamer-maint at bugzilla.gnome.org
TargetMilestone: HEAD
URL:
Summary: fullscreen mode makes the video window small

this happens with gst-player 0.6.0, didn't happen with 0.5.1, both with
gstreamer 0.6.3

i'm using the openbox windowmanager (with some changes to the latest
release that fixed another problem with gst-player and fullscreen mode).

When going fullscreen before starting to play the video, then pressing the
play button, the video window gets small and displays only part of the
video, while the control bar still covers the whole screen width.
(screenshot attached)

when going fullscreen after starting to play the video, it works fine (i.e.
the video is shown over the whole screen)

output sinks are osssink for audio and xvideosink for video
