"woe is esd", rhyme ... "woe is me" ... tried to brighten this report up,
campaign for bug reports in a comedy style ... or something.

anyway, i'm using the gstreamer esd sink, and it locks up the whole gnome
desktop if i press pause in rhythmbox, this is with the gnome system sounds
turned on, i think, that as soon as another program tries to play a system sound
through esd, it gets refused, and blocks, unpause rhythmbox and everything comes
right.
