Oh, I did'nt think to "file" it, should have checked that.

Anyway, on my PC, mplayer, mpg321, xmms and vlc are able to play it correctly.
mplayer also gets correct ID3 info:

Playing LinusAndLucy.mp3.
Audio file detected.
Clip info:
 Title: Linus And Lucy
 Artist: David Benoit
 Album: The Best Of David Benoit 1987
 Year:
 Comment:
 Track: 6
 Genre: Jazz
[...]
