I would love to, however I would be rubbish at it.  I will have a look around
for someone.  As I am helping out at a program (Jokosher) that requires the
latest versions for Gstreamer I will post on the dev list there and see if
anyone can help out.

Sadly I don't know the first thing about packaging for a specific distro. 
Maybe if nobody else can be found I might have to learn.
