You can create tagless Musepack files on with
http://www.sacredchao.net/quodlibet/wiki/Development/Mutagen and the simple
Python script "import mutagen.apev2; mutagen.apev2.delete(filename)".

I'm still unable to reproduce this bug in Quod Libet, my Musepack files are
playing back fine.
