if you make subs for any kind of video, it's really ugly and crappy to use srt
or some other formats like that

ssa and ass brings to you a universe of possibilities to make a wonderful
subtitles, with colors, effects and anything you can imagine

it would be a really kick ass feature to show an amazing subtitles encoded by
gstreamer
