To reproduce:
- Download this subtitles file:
http://cass.no-ip.com/~cassidy/files/brol/test.srt
- Choose a video file "foo.avi"
- Rename "test.srt" in "foo.srt"
- Try to open "foo.avi" using totem
- Totem doesn't respond and you have to kill it.

I'm using Ubuntu Dapper.
