Totem gives the error message "GStreamer encountered a general stream error".



With playbin I get this:

gst-launch-0.10 playbin
uri=file:///home/pete/misc/Trailer/thehillshaveeyes_h480p.mov
Setting pipeline to PAUSED ...
Pipeline is PREROLLING ...
ERROR: from element /playbin0/decoder/qtdemux0: GStreamer encountered a general
stream error.
Additional debug info:
qtdemux.c(1450): gst_qtdemux_loop (): /playbin0/decoder/qtdemux0:
streaming stopped, reason not-negotiated
ERROR: pipeline doesn't want to preroll.
Setting pipeline to NULL ...
FREEING pipeline ...
