If I check out the latest release of gst-template from CVS as a guide for
making a new plugin.   It fails to build using automake-1.4 and aclocal-1.4 and
it doesn't warn the users of this.   It seems from checking that all the other
gstreamer source automake system check and fail with automake-1.4.   I think
gst-template just got overlooked.
