Comparison points on current Ubuntu Dapper: 

(1) Quod Libet 0.18 silently reads through entire musepack files (without
audibly playing) in a couple seconds and fails to segue correctly;
(2) Totem (using Gst) plays single files from its playlist correctly (but fails
to segue correctly);
(3) gst-launch plays single files correctly.

Tagged files, Gst 0.10.3, -good 0.10.2, and -bad 0.10.1 are used.
