At least in current Ubuntu Dapper[0], the same symptoms exist for
totem-gstreamer (will play an mpc but will not continue to the next mpc) and
quod libet 0.18 (will play an mpc after seeking to the beginning of it).

[0] core/base 0.10.4, bad[Ubuntu multiverse] 0.10.1
