Works fine for me (with gstreamer/gst-plugins-good CVS).

What's the output of

 $ gst-inspect-0.10 apedemux | grep Version

?

Could you get a stack trace from when it segfaults (use gst-launch-0.10 for gdb
rather than gst-launch)?
