GStreamer | gst-plugins-base | Ver: HEAD CVS
Summary: [oggmux] produces invalid OggFLAC
Product: GStreamer
Version: HEAD CVS
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: gst-plugins-base
AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
ReportedBy: mail at renestadler.de
QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
GNOME version: Unspecified
GNOME milestone: Unspecified
The oggmux element claims to be able to sink "audio/x-flac" data. However, the
data produced by "flacenc ! oggmux" does not conform to the defined Ogg
mapping of FLAC. Also, no player can make sense of it (including "oggdemux !
flacdec").
