FYI: looks like XMP will be maintained again finally.

I contacted the project admins asking to be added to the project. I received a
reply from Claudio Matsuoka saying I had motivated them to work on the project
again and asking which sf.net account they should add.

I would encourage any gstreamer folks who are interested to email Claudio and
volunteer as I have. With luck and a bit of effort, we can get XMP into a
usable state for gstreamer to use.
