I tried CVS of -ugly as of today, still no change. I'm attaching the log of the
command.

As for libmms, I'm using 0.3, but with three patches from my distro;
http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-multimedia/unstable/libmms/debian/patches/
(scroll down a bit).
