IMHO the interface for a single gobject property would be overkill too... so
the addition to GstElementDetails is probably the best. Every other possibility
I can think about sounds too complicated :)

But instead of hardcoding the URI to "file:///...." I would just specify the
complete URI. IMHO having this kind of automatism seems to be very error-prone
and could easily lead to URIs pointing to nowhere... though this is probably
just a matter of taste ;)
