GStreamer | gstreamer (core) | Ver: HEAD CVS
Summary: registry feature hash can access invalid memory
Product: GStreamer
Version: HEAD CVS
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: blocker
Priority: Normal
Component: gstreamer (core)
AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
ReportedBy: thaytan at mad.scientist.com
QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
GNOME version: Unspecified
GNOME milestone: Unspecified
When replacing an existing feature in the registry, the new feature hash might
access invalid memory because the old feature has been unreffed (freeing the
name string), but the registry feature hash stores a pointer to the name, not a
copy.
