Please describe the problem:
no sound after install suse 10.3 on hp omnibook 6000
If I check audio configuration I get message:
audiotestsrc wave=sine freq=512 !audioconvert ! audioresample ! gconfaudiosink:
Internal GStreamer error : state change failed. Please file a bug at
http://bugzilla.gnoe.org/enter_bug.cgi? product=GStreamer.

Steps to reproduce:
1. whenever you do a sounds test
2. 
3. 


Actual results:
you get above message

Expected results:
give me a sound

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
if I start GStreamer Properties and say test plugin I get the message that the
application stalled and a bug report was prepared. However there was no server
available yet (or something like that in German)
