Summary: Handling SMIL (audio only)
Product: GStreamer
Version: HEAD CVS
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: Normal
Component: gnonlin
AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
ReportedBy: fberckel at xs4all.nl
QAContact: bilboed at bilboed.com
GNOME version: Unversioned Enhancement
GNOME milestone: Unspecified
The Campcaster project is a broadcast play-out system for radio stations by
Campware. It's based on Gstreamer and is looking for handling of SMIL-audio
files. Support of SMIL-video files in Gnonlin is a bridge to far, there's a lot
of other stuff to be handled. So we calling a SMIL subset idea supported by
Campcaster as usecase.

Maybe the Jokosher team is interested as well, because the non-linear editor is
processing audio only as well.
