GStreamer | gstreamer (core) | Ver: HEAD CVS
           Summary: Rhythmbox can't play MP3s
           Product: GStreamer
           Version: HEAD CVS
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: Normal
         Component: gstreamer (core)
        AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
        ReportedBy: johnxj at comcast.net
         QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
     GNOME version: 2.19/2.20
   GNOME milestone: Unspecified

Evidently Rhythmbox that is automatically installed on my Ubuntu Gutsy x86_64
computer uses GStreamer to play MP3s, and something is wrong with GStreamer.
When I try to play an MP3 Rhythmbox takes a long time, then puts a red - in
front of the file. If I select the file, then Properties I get a window that
says "Internal GStreamer error: state change failed. Please file a bug at
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=GStreamer." I have reinstalled
Rhythmbox with Synaptic, also all packages that contain "gstreamer," but
nothing works. Meantime, MP3s play fine in RealPlayer, Exaile and VLC.
