Ok, newer benchmarks now :)

with default quality speexresample is:
3 times as fast for 48khz->44.1khz
4 times as fast for 44.1khz->48khz
8 times as fast for 24khz->48khz
5 times as fast for 48khz->24khz

as audioresample.

For 48khz->44.1khz this is 30x real time on my machine.
