  GStreamer | gst-ffmpeg | Ver: HEAD CVS
           Summary: gst-ffmpeg for Windows mis-compiled
           Product: GStreamer
           Version: HEAD CVS
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Windows
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Normal
         Component: gst-ffmpeg
        AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
        ReportedBy: tristan.brindle at gmail.com
         QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
     GNOME version: Unspecified
   GNOME milestone: Unspecified

The gst-ffmpeg build at

http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/pkg/windows/releases/gst-ffmpeg/

has been compiled incorrectly. On startup, ffmpeg reports:

"Compiler did not align stack variables. Libavcodec has been miscompiled
and may be very slow or crash. This is not a bug in libavcodec,
but in the compiler. Do not report crashes to FFmpeg developers."

Any app using the ffmpeg plugins will crash shortly after setting the pipeline
to play.

Apologies if this is the wrong place for this report!
