Mike and wtay don't like the api for default() and random(). While I find that
quite useful, if its the collective decission, I can definitly just move them
to buzztard. If we feel that all of a sudden 10 apps have copied the code, we
can still extend the iface :).

I am definitely don't like the ideas to have special named entries in the list.
Atleast it needs again some api in turn so that the element can provide the
pre-defined entries it supports and a way to ensure that names don't conflict.

Is there anything besides this that needs discussion/changes?
