GStreamer | gst-python | Ver: HEAD CVS
Summary: Add a nicer constructor for GstElements
Product: GStreamer
Version: HEAD CVS
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: gst-python
AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
ReportedBy: johan at gnome.org
QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
GNOME version: Unspecified
GNOME milestone: Unspecified
It's kind of strange to be forced to use a factory function to create an
element.
It would be nicer if it would be similar to a normal constructor, eg:
element = gst.Element('oggmux')
