Ok, but ximagesrc does not work at all for me, only in the states test :)

gst-launch-0.10 ximagesrc ! ffmpegcolorspace ! fakesink
Setting pipeline to PAUSED ...
Pipeline is live and does not need PREROLL ...
Setting pipeline to PLAYING ...
