Hi,
the download page seems to be very out of date:

>     Not yet in experimental but on Alioth (gstreamer core and plugins + rhythmbox).
>     echo "deb http://pkg-gnome.alioth.debian.org/debian/ experimental main" >> /etc/apt/sources.list && apt-get update

Infact the packages are now since ages in Debian stable, testing and unstable
and can be simply installed by apt-get as usual.

Same goes for Ubuntu which probably should also be added ;)
