DVB-T and DVB-S (and I think DVB-C) are already supported in GStreamer, but
ATSC still remains unsupported.  This is a roadblock, preventing North American
& Korean users from using GStreamer-based solutions for TV apps. (ie: Totem) 
XineLib can handle ATSC, but this would be a nice addition to GStreamer.
