           Version: 0.10.21
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Normal
         Component: gst-plugins-base
        AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
        ReportedBy: kretz at kde.org
         QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
     GNOME version: Unspecified
   GNOME milestone: Unspecified

The ALSA sink uses blocking writes to write to the soundcard. If the audio
device is unplugged this write will block forever. It should use non-blocking
writes instead and handle the case of an unplugged device.
