GStreamer | don't know | Ver: 0.10.21
Summary: Logitech Quickcam Zoom doesn't work
Product: GStreamer
Version: 0.10.21
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: don't know
AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
ReportedBy: guix_d-gnu at yahoo.fr
QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
GNOME version: 2.23/2.24
GNOME milestone: Unspecified
Please describe the problem:
It works well under camorama, kopete, ekiga, ... so maybe the situation is not
so desperate.
Steps to reproduce:
1. plug in the webcam
2. launch gstreamer-properties
3. try any of the settings
Actual results:
The video output is a green square.
In the shell I also get these warnings but I think it has nothing to do with
the webcam :
gstreamer-properties-Message: Skipping unavailable plugin 'artsdsink'
gstreamer-properties-Message: Skipping unavailable plugin 'glimagesink'
gstreamer-properties-Message: Skipping unavailable plugin 'sdlvideosink'
gstreamer-properties-Message: Skipping unavailable plugin 'v4lmjpegsrc'
gstreamer-properties-Message: Skipping unavailable plugin 'qcamsrc'
gstreamer-properties-Message: Skipping unavailable plugin 'esdmon'
Expected results:
To see me with the webcam :)
Does this happen every time?
Yes
Other information:
I hope this can be fixed, many thanks in advance !
