It would be good to get the output of v4l-info and a debug log for

GST_DEBUG="v4l*:4" GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 gst-launch 2>debug.log v4l2src
num-buffers=5 ! autovideosink

(or v4lsrc if its not v4l2).
