After running autogen.sh, the configure scrip fails on this line:

dnl Check for GLEW/OpenGL
AC_SEARCH_LIBS(glLoadIdentity, [GL opengl32], , AC_MSG_ERROR([Opengl not found
make sure you have Opengl installed]))

with the error:

checking for library containing glLoadIdentity... no
configure: error: Opengl not found make sure you have Opengl installed
  configure failed
