  GStreamer | gst-plugins-bad | Ver: 0.10.x
           Summary: separate caps for mp4mux?
           Product: GStreamer
           Version: 0.10.x
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Normal
         Component: gst-plugins-bad
        AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
        ReportedBy: Uraeus at linuxrising.org
         QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
     GNOME version: Unspecified
   GNOME milestone: Unspecified

So as I have been working on Transmageddon one of the things I wanted to do was
to be able to query for elements based on caps, for instance I want to be able
to say give me an element that can mux 'application/mxf' and I would be able to
identify an element that can mux me that. For most formats that should be fine,
but I noticed that capswise we do not currently differentiate between Quicktime
and MP4 container formats, but got the caps 'video/quicktime'.

I suggest that mp4mux gets changed to something like video/x-mp4, and that
qtdemux gets updated to also handle that as a incoming caps.
