GStreamer | gstreamer (core) | Ver: git
Summary: binaryregistry: bogus error handling in registry reading
           Product: GStreamer
           Version: git
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: Normal
         Component: gstreamer (core)
        AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
        ReportedBy: ensonic at sonicpulse.de
         QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
     GNOME version: Unspecified
   GNOME milestone: Unspecified

I added some safety for handling truncated files in this cycle. Unfortunately
the checks are bogus and as such preventing to read over the actual data bounds
would still not be prevented and crash. Attached is a fix.
