Slomo, I don't think it can be 'fixed'. The core and the plugins don't really
know what the application want to do. We would need an interface on muxers that
offers a 'sparse-stream' property. Setting it to FALSE would cause the muxer to
rewrite timestamps to compensate for disconts.
