Why would you? Just add pthreads as a requirement. With the patch it builds
just fine (don't really know whether it actually works or not).
gst-plugins-bad does it like this:
AM_CONDITIONAL(HAVE_PTHREAD_H, test "x$HAVE_PTHREAD_H" = "xyes")
if test "x$HAVE_PTHREAD_H" != "xyes"; then
GST_PLUGINS_SELECTED=`echo $GST_PLUGINS_SELECTED | $SED -e s/dccp//`
I don't see why you can't do the same in core.
