Speaking only for rhythmbox, obviously, the main reason I haven't put much
effort into using playbin2 is that I'm more interested in the crossfading
player, which doesn't use playbin at all.  There's a preliminary playbin2
implementation on bug 542922 that needs a lot of work before it can replace the
existing playbin player.

The crossfading player will play chained oggs properly if I switch it to use
decodebin2 instead of decodebin, which is a trivial change.
