  GStreamer | gst-plugins-base | Ver: 0.10.22
Summary: Playing audio cd with gstreamer cdparanoia plug-in
                    causes constant hick-ups
           Product: GStreamer
           Version: 0.10.22
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Normal
         Component: gst-plugins-base
        AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
        ReportedBy: fhimpe at telenet.be
         QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
     GNOME version: Unspecified
   GNOME milestone: Unspecified

When I play an audio cd with Rhythmbox or sound-juicer with
gstreamer-cdparanoia installed, the audio skips about every 15 seconds, making
it impossible to enjoy listening to the music.

When I uninstall gstreamer-cdparanoia, the audio cd plays without any hick-up.
I guess it is using the installed cdparanoia-cdio then.

This is on Mandriva 2009.1 x86_64 with 2.6.29.3 based kernel on a Dell Latitude
E6400 system, with these packages:
