Go and run 'git submodule update' right now :) That'll get rid of 'common' from
your diff, and remove any chance that you'll accidentally make a commit that
reverts common to an old version.

This patch works OK for me - no regressions afaics. I still don't get
downstream buffer allocations on this iSight though.
