I have more informations:

Using GST_DEBUG=GST_POLL:5  
I can see:

... BEGIN PREROLL ...
... END PREROLL ...
... PLAYING ...
GST_POLL gstpoll.c:1141:gst_poll_wait: timeout :0:00:02.764643179
New clock: GstSystemClock
-----------------------------------------

So the pause is there: 2.76 sec
