Awesome, thanks for your work here guys. I've already tested the first version
and I'm quietly hoping it'll help in some KDE Phonon related bugs I have that
seem to relate to similar cases... perhaps they wont, but I live in hope and it
seemed to help in my test setup. I look forward to the next iteration of the
patch :)
