See comment 4. It seems that bug 623663 is only about incorrectly detected
content type which is not the same as gstreamer not being able to *correctly
decode* the MPEG-TS stream.

Note that gstreamer is unable to display some 1080p AVCHD (MPEG-TS with H.264
video) even without seeking so I'd guess that the real issue is bug 550634 or
perhaps even something more widespread in mpegtsdemux.
