Summary: [regression] [decodebin2] massive slowness in
                    importing clips in pitivi
    Classification: Desktop
           Product: GStreamer
           Version: 0.10.25
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: Normal
         Component: don't know
        AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
        ReportedBy: nekohayo at gmail.com
         QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
      GNOME target: ---
     GNOME version: ---

Latest versions of the gstreamer PPA packages cause pitivi to be *REALLY* slow
to import clips. Usually importing a clip didn't take >1-2 seconds, but now
users and testers (including me) are constantly hitting the 10-seconds import
timeout in pitivi. Some projects/clips can never be imported now, whereas they
used to.

On my end, I think this started occuring with the gstreamer PPA updates from
december or january.

If this problem is present with pitivi in ubuntu 10.04, it will be fail on a
massive scale. I'm hoping this was already reported and fixed, but someone
suggested I file a bug nonetheless.
